Brothers and Sisters,
The events in Akita, Japan, lend credence to events in Amsterdam, Fatima, Zeitoun, and other Marian apparitions recorded in history. Mama Mary seems to seek us and reassure us that what the Church teaches is the truth.
1) There is a supernatural order.that is immensely benevolent and is personified in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
2) The Holy Spirit has chosen Mary to be an instrument of grace, above all other instruments of grace.
3) Her maternal heart can only implore and will not impose.
4) Her tears promise forgiveness to those who despair.
5) She is in our midst.
Human tears were created out of nothing and once created became subject to gravitational pull, some were absorbed in cotton balls, others turned to water vapor after leaving stains on wood. Once materialized, the tears added to the totality of water molecules or its component elements and the universe became that much more plentiful.
Now consider the exiting of the material body of Jesus and Mary and this universe is that much less heavy from the loss of carbon and other elements, unless we posit the co-existence of primal matter and terminal matter, as Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega.
This consideration has some bearing on the Shroud of Turin. The image has characteristics of a radiation that enables measurement of distance to the cloth. But the image on the other side of the cloth suggests chemical action of a fluid. This seems to suggest a behavior of primal matter. At the resurrection, terminal matter reverted to primal matter, radiated out, cooled on contact with the cloth, condensed and left traces on the other side as Jesus exited the confines of the cloth.
